Technical Information
The BS 40 amorphous silicon solar module is a thin film photovoltaic module with tandem junction amorphous silicon (p-i-n/p-i-n) monolithically integrated device.
Stabilized power rating is 40 watts at maximum power point under Standard Test Conditions (STC)1). Rated for use in high voltage systems is up to 600 V.
Module consist of two 3 mm. annealed float glass and laminated with EVA. Module dimensions is 635x1245 mm. Overall weight is
13.5 kg. The aluminum frame is provided including mounting channels.
Electrical connection via stress relieved, 1.5 sq.mm. wires emanating from sealed boot, free length is according to customer's specification (standard length is 100 cm.). Integral bypass diode contained in boot rated 3 A, 800 V. Electrical insulation provided by thin-film-free border around the module perimeter. The film is laser patterned, and the module is highly uniform appearance.
